The Surgical Outcomes Club is pleased to announce a new opportunity for members this year, the Specific Aims Studio. The first Specific Aims Review Session will take place April 14th from 5 pm – 6 pm(PT).
These sessions are designed to provide feedback on your specific aims page for all types of funding mechanisms. The aims page will be reviewed by senior members of the SOC with relevant expertise who will then review their feedback with you during a live session where you will have the opportunity to discuss and ask questions.
Priority will be given to early-stage investigators. The order of acceptance based on greatest need (e.g. no previous funding, career stage) combined with submission order.
The deadline to apply is March 24th. If selected to participate, you will need to submit your specific aims page to the SOC office by Friday, April 4th.
Participating as a reviewer is also a valuable learning experience and all SOC members are invited to review. Those who are interested in being a Specific Aims reviewer for the SOC can fill out this form.
