Call for Abstracts

The abstract submission deadline has passed.

PRESENT YOUR POSTER AT THE 2023 SURGICAL OUTCOMES CLUB ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC SESSION

The Surgical Outcomes Club (SOC) brings together a consortium of surgeons and scientists interested in advancing health services and outcomes research in surgery.  The Annual Scientific Session provides an opportunity for investigators addressing some of the most pressing clinical and policy issues facing the surgical profession today to meet, engage, and collaborate.

The SOC is excited to welcome all attendees to the in-person 2023 Annual Scientific Session and provide new networking and educational opportunities for trainees and junior faculty.

SOC invites members to submit an abstract for a poster presentation highlighting their results, activities, and lessons learned.  The SOC encourages diverse perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds to be reflected in posters and presenters.  SOC strongly encourages project teams to submit abstracts that reflect collaboration with a range of end-user stakeholders and engage patients/consumers who are representative of the groups most affected by the condition or care delivery issue the intervention seeks to address.

Submit your abstract for poster presentation using the forms below by Friday, July 21, 2023.

The poster session will be open to all attendees. Posters will be presented at the cocktail reception immediately following the Annual Scientific Session on Sunday, October 22. One presenter for each poster must be available to attend in person and engage with meeting attendees. Poster times will be shared once the Annual Meeting agenda is finalized.
